Sous Chef

As the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include supervising kitchen staff, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and assisting with menu planning and creation. You must have a strong background in fine dining cuisine and be able to lead by example while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of fine dining cuisine, techniques, and presentation
- Ability to train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong communication skills to work closely with Executive Chef and other departments
- Proficient in inventory management, cost control, and menu planning
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have legal authorization to work in Faro
