Housemaid for Indian Family in Eldoret, Kenya


We are hiring a Housemaid to work for an Indian family in Eldoret, Kenya. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working as a housemaid and must be able to communicate effectively in English. This is a full-time job that requires the candidate to work 6 days a week, from Monday to Saturday. The salary for this position is $1300 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the household including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Doing laundry and ironing clothes
- Preparing meals according to the family's preferences and dietary restrictions
- Grocery shopping and running errands as needed
- Taking care of household pets (small dog)
- Maintaining household inventory and informing the employer when supplies need to be replenished

Requirements:
- Prior experience working as a housemaid
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to cook Indian cuisine, including vegetarian dishes
- Must be comfortable around small dogs
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Must have excellent references from previous employers

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time job that requires the candidate to work 6 days a week, from Monday to Saturday. The working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm with an hour-long lunch break. The candidate will not have accommodation provided but will receive their own visa. This position is open to both male and female candidates, however preference will be given to female candidates.

Benefits:
In addition to the monthly salary of $1300, the candidate will also receive daily meals provided by the employer. They will also have access to paid sick leave and vacation time as per company policy.
