As a Biometric Passport Scanning Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the software and hardware systems used for biometric passport scanning. This role requires expertise in electrical engineering, as well as knowledge of biometric technologies and security protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software and hardware systems for biometric passport scanning
- Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and technologies into existing systems
- Conduct research on new biometric technologies and recommend improvements to current systems
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in biometric passport scanning
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulations
- Train users on how to properly operate the systems
- Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during operation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience working with biometric technologies
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles
- Knowledge of security protocols such as ISO 19092 and ICAO standards
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Strong communication skills

Salary: $1000 per month

Location: Faro, Portugal (Portuguese nationality is preferred)
