Executive Chef
We are hiring an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operations of our restaurant in Aalborg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and a passion for creating innovative and high-quality dishes. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu planning, food costing, and managing kitchen staff. You must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to train and develop your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Manage food inventory and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Collaborate with management to create new dishes or improve existing ones
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- In-depth knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, management, and suppliers
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Degree in Culinary Arts or relevant field is preferred
