Finisher - Woodworking Craftsman

Our woodworking company in Greenland is seeking a skilled and experienced Finisher to join our team. As a Finisher, you will be responsible for applying the final touches and finishes to our wooden products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and a passion for woodworking.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, filling holes, and repairing any imperfections
- Apply stains, varnishes, and other finishes to wood products using appropriate techniques and tools
- Inspect finished products for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or repairs
- Maintain an organized work area and keep all tools and equipment in good working condition
- Follow safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as a Finisher or similar role in the woodworking industry
- In-depth knowledge of different types of wood, finishes, and their properties
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time

Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Nuuk, Greenland (accommodation not provided)
