Part-Time Commercial Architect
Location: Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Architect to join our team in Porto on a part-time basis. As a Commercial Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of commercial buildings such as offices, retail spaces, and mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives for the project
- Develop design concepts and plans that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements
- Prepare detailed drawings and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Create cost estimates for materials, labor, and other project expenses
- Coordinate with contractors and engineers to ensure the smooth execution of the project
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in commercial architecture

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial architecture projects
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations related to commercial construction
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
