Turner Technician



The Turner Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools, such as lathes, grinders, and mills. They will work with a variety of materials, including metal, plastic, and wood, to produce precision parts for industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical drawings and be able to use a variety of measuring tools to ensure accuracy. They must also be skilled in troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. This is a contract job located in Oslo, Norway with an urgent need for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various machine tools according to technical specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings to produce accurate parts
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure precision
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or similar role
- Strong understanding of technical drawings
- Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Flexibility to work on different types of materials
- Must have own set of basic hand tools

Salary: $1700 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Oslo, Norway (candidates must be legally able to work in Norway)

Type: Contract (with potential for extension)
