Part-Time Construction Manager in Svalbard


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join our team on a part-time basis in Svalbard. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing the work of contractors and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Review and approve construction plans and specifications
- Hire and manage subcontractors for various aspects of the project
- Monitor construction progress and quality of work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
- Communicate regularly with clients regarding project updates and any issues that may arise
- Address any delays or problems that may arise during construction
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the job site

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, methods, and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license

Salary:
This is a part-time position paying 1200$ per month.

Location:
The role is based in Svalbard. Accommodation can be provided if needed.

Visa Requirements:
Candidates must have their own valid visa for working in Svalbard.
