Floral Designer


As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, parties, and funerals. Your role will involve working closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements and then using your artistic skills to design unique and visually stunning arrangements that meet their needs. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of creativity, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to discuss their floral needs and preferences
- Design and create floral arrangements based on client specifications
- Order flowers and supplies from vendors
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets or other containers
- Ensure all arrangements are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design
- Assist with set-up and breakdown of events as needed

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and greenery
- Strong artistic skills with an eye for color, texture, and balance
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide recommendations
- Knowledge of different floral design techniques such as bouquet making, centerpieces, etc.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Education/Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Previous experience in floristry or certificate/diploma in Floral Design is preferred.

Salary:
$1500 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location:
Bungoma (accommodation not provided)

Preferred Nationality/Citizenship:
Pakistani or Kenyan (English speaking)
