Contract Baker in Funchal, Portugal


We are seeking an experienced Baker to join our team on a contract basis in Funchal, Portugal. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods for our customers. This is an urgent job with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Monitor baking process and adjust temperatures as needed
- Ensure quality and consistency of products
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order ingredients as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized according to health standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker in a professional setting
- Knowledge of different baking techniques and recipes
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month for this contract position.

Location:
Funchal is the capital city of Madeira, known for its beautiful beaches, historical sites, and delicious food. It is the perfect location for someone who loves the ocean and enjoys a laid-back lifestyle.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided for the duration of the contract. You will have your own private room in a shared apartment with other employees.

Contract Length:
This is initially a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension based on performance.
