Senior Architect - Braga, Portugal
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of various architectural projects. This is a contract job with a salary of 1100$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design process from conception to completion, ensuring that all projects meet the client's requirements and budget
- Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and contractors to develop efficient and effective building plans
- Monitor project progress and conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns or changes throughout the project
- Mentor and supervise junior architects and support staff
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Proven experience as a Senior Architect or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Braga is preferred but not required
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred but not required
