Electrician
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Nakuru. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in various buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Inspect electrical components to identify faults and troubleshoot issues.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Read technical diagrams and blueprints to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations.
- Install grounding leads.
- Install control and distribution devices such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, controllers, etc.
- Connect power cables to equipment such as motors, pumps, HVAC units, lighting fixtures, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
- Respond to emergency calls for repairs and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician.
- Knowledge of local safety codes and regulations related to electrical work.
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Biometric passport (preferred).
