Courier Delivery Assistant

As a Courier Delivery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting our delivery team in safely and efficiently transporting packages and documents to their intended destinations. This is an entry-level position, making it perfect for students or those without prior experience in the courier industry. You will be based in Faro, Portugal and will have a starting salary of $1300.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading packages onto delivery vehicles
- Sort and organize packages for efficient delivery routes
- Accompany delivery driver on scheduled routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details and obtain necessary signatures
- Adhere to all safety protocols while handling packages and operating delivery vehicles
- Report any delays, issues or discrepancies encountered during deliveries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Valid driver's license (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly during shifts
- Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
