Pastry Chef at a High-End Restaurant in Horsens, Denmark
We are seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Horsens, Denmark. As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing delicious and visually appealing desserts and pastries that will leave our guests wanting more. Your passion for pastry and attention to detail will elevate the dining experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new dessert menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences
- Preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods from scratch using high-quality ingredients
- Ensuring all food preparation meets food safety standards and regulations
- Monitoring inventory levels of pastry supplies and placing orders when needed
- Training and supervising junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- Culinary degree or equivalent training from a reputable institution is preferred
- Excellent knowledge of various pastry techniques, tools, and equipment
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to create visually appealing desserts/pastries
- Team player with excellent communication skills
Salary: $1000 per month (negotiable based on experience)
