Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator for our company in Roskilde, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network and computer systems. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all network and system infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
- Troubleshoot network issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Monitor network performance to identify potential issues or areas for improvement
- Implement security measures to protect the company's data and systems
- Maintain and update system software, including operating systems, applications, and security patches
- Provide technical support to end users for network connectivity or system issues
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and implement new technology solutions
- Manage user accounts and permissions on various systems as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing protocols (BGP), firewalls, VPNs, and wireless technologies
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: 1400$ per month

Location: Roskilde
