Junior Information Security Analyst

We are hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our team in Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and identifying potential security threats, implementing security measures, and monitoring the effectiveness of our security systems. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will work closely with our senior analysts to ensure the protection of our company's sensitive information.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security risks
- Implement and maintain security controls, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or unauthorized access
- Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and databases
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner

Preferred:
- Previous experience in information security or related field is a plus but not required.
- Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are desirable.
