Entry-Level Information Security Analyst


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Information Security Analyst in Oslo. As an entry-level analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the information security program, including risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response. This is a contract position with the potential for long-term growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities in IT systems
- Assist with vulnerability management by monitoring and mitigating identified risks
- Support incident response efforts by investigating and remediating security incidents
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Monitor network traffic and analyze logs to identify potential threats
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in information security

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS)
- Familiarity with common information security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills

Preference will be given to candidates who have completed relevant coursework or have certifications in information security.
