Formworker in Alta, Norway


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Formworker to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up forms for concrete structures on construction sites. Your main duties will include reading and interpreting blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling forms, and pouring and leveling concrete. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in formwork construction and possess strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine form specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install formwork according to specifications
- Use hand and power tools to construct forms from various types of materials such as wood, metal, plywood or plastic
- Pour and level concrete into forms using appropriate tools
- Ensure accuracy of measurements and dimensions of forms
- Trim protruding edges of cured concrete using saws or other tools
- Repair damaged or broken forms as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in formwork construction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of construction materials and techniques
- Ability to read blueprints
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, hammers
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $900 per week (full-time)
