Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Almada. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue for the hotel. You will also be responsible for managing relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other partners to drive business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities
- Manage relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and other partners
- Monitor sales performance and report on key metrics
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns
- Negotiate contracts with clients to secure group bookings
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust strategies accordingly
- Train and mentor junior sales staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hotel sales management
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of local market trends, competition, and customer needs
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English (knowledge of additional languages is a plus)
Salary: $1300 per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Almada (accommodation can be provided if needed)
