Librarian in Roskilde, Denmark


We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Librarian to join our team in Roskilde, Denmark. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection and providing information services to patrons. You will also oversee the day-to-day operations of the library, including budgeting, staffing, and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Library Science or a related field and at least 2 years of experience working in a library setting. Fluency in Danish is preferred but not required. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to assist patrons with their research needs. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing the library's collection and keeping track of loans and returns.

As a Librarian, you will also be responsible for promoting the library's resources through outreach programs and events. This may include collaborating with local schools or community organizations to offer educational workshops or hosting author talks or book clubs.

In addition to your salary of $1300 per month, we offer accommodation as part of your compensation package.
