Shaper for Surfboard Manufacturing Company


We are a surfboard manufacturing company based in Malindi and we are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Shaper to join our team. As a Shaper, you will be responsible for shaping, sanding, and finishing surfboards according to specifications provided by our clients. This position requires strong attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
- Use various shaping tools such as planers, sanders, and saws to shape surfboards
- Follow specifications provided by clients to ensure each surfboard is made to their desired dimensions and design
- Sand and finish surfboards to ensure a smooth surface
- Repair any imperfections or damages on surfboards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with other team members to ensure timely completion of orders
- Continuously evaluate and improve shaping techniques

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Shaper in the surfboard manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of different types of shaping tools and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret specifications from clients accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently
- Physical dexterity and ability to work with hands for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary: 1400$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
