IT Support Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team in Alta, Norway. As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our clients, resolving hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer systems and networks, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients of all technical levels.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install and configure new equipment including computers, printers, and other peripherals
- Maintain network infrastructure including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Educate clients on proper use of technology and provide training when necessary
- Document all support interactions and maintain accurate records of client issues
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience in IT support role
- Knowledge of computer systems (Windows/Mac), networks (LAN/WAN), and common software applications (Microsoft Office)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Salary: 1400$ per month (part-time)
