Excavator Operator - Contract Position (Vejle, Denmark)



We are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team on a contract basis in Vejle, Denmark. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of excavators to complete construction and excavation projects. This is a contract position with the potential for extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other designated areas according to project plans
- Maneuver and control excavator movements to avoid obstacles and maintain safety standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow all site safety protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid Excavator Operator license or certification
- Ability to read and interpret project plans
- Strong understanding of excavation techniques and procedures
- Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness

Preferred Skills:
- Experience operating different types of excavators such as mini, standard, or long reach
- Familiarity with GPS systems for precision digging
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Experience working on construction sites or in a similar environment

Compensation:
Salary for this contract position is 1300$ per week. Accommodation can be provided if needed.
