Job Title: Plasterer

A reputable construction company in Svalbard is seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster and other materials to walls, ceilings, and structures to create smooth and even surfaces. You will also be required to repair and maintain existing plaster finishes.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Plasterer
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Knowledge of different types of plaster and their uses
- Familiarity with various tools and equipment used in plastering
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Physical stamina for working in demanding conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, and leveling them using various tools such as trowels, brushes, and scrapers
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specific instructions or based on personal experience
- Apply plaster evenly over surfaces using hand or mechanical methods
- Smooth out rough spots and fill gaps with additional layers of plaster or other materials
- Use specialized tools such as spray guns or masonry saws for more intricate jobs
- Repair damaged or cracked plaster surfaces by removing old material, applying new layers, and blending them with existing finishes
- Clean up work area after completing job, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored
- Communicate with other team members about project progress and any issues that may arise

Salary: The salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
