Part-Time Executive Chef

Our busy restaurant in Odense is in need of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team on a part-time basis. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing the kitchen team, creating new menu items, and ensuring the overall quality and consistency of our food. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a flexible schedule and has a passion for cooking.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff
- Create new menu items based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all dishes by tasting and inspecting food before it is served
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain proper hygiene practices
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations in order to continuously improve our menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Creativity in menu planning with knowledge of current culinary trends
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have own visa/work permit

This is an urgent position so we are looking for someone who can start immediately. The salary for this part-time role will be $1200 per month. Please note that accommodation will not be provided.
