Machine Operator

As a Machine Operator in our manufacturing plant in Mombasa, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines used in the production process. Your role will involve setting up machines, monitoring their performance, and making adjustments as needed to ensure smooth operation and high-quality output. You will also be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise during production.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a machine operator and be able to work well under pressure. You must also have excellent attention to detail and technical skills to be able to identify and solve problems quickly. As our machines are constantly evolving, you must be adaptable and willing to learn new processes.

Responsibilities:
- Operate various machines including but not limited to lathes, drills, grinders, and milling machines
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Monitor machine performance during operation
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during production
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a machine operator or similar role preferred
- Technical skills and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Adaptable with the ability to learn new processes quickly

Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Mombasa, Kenya (English speaking)
