Job Title: Information Security Analyst - Svalbard Contract


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Information Security Analyst to join our team in Svalbard on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's data and systems. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in our systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to protect company data
- Monitor network activity for any suspicious behavior or security breaches
- Investigate security incidents and provide recommendations for remediation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in information security to continuously improve our systems and processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security analysis or related role
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption techniques, etc.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or Qualys
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 27001/27002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Salary:
As a contract position, the salary for this role is set at 1600$ per month.
