Junior Librarian

We are hiring a Junior Librarian to join our team in Horsens, Denmark. As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting with various library tasks and providing support to the senior librarians. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about books, literature, and helping others.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the organization and management of library materials
- Help patrons locate and check out books
- Provide reference and research assistance to library users
- Conduct basic cataloging and classification of materials
- Maintain a clean and organized library space
- Create displays and promotional materials to showcase library resources
- Support senior librarians with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (or currently enrolled in a program)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of library systems, databases, and information resources preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
We offer a starting salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position. The salary may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
