Our company in Bergen is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the financial sector. This position offers a competitive salary of 1300$ and includes accommodation for the employee.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Communicate with clients regarding their accounts and provide financial advice as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the financial sector
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
- Experience with international accounting standards is preferred
- Fluency in Norwegian is preferred but not required
