Job Title: Computer Systems Analyst - Contract (Svalbard)



We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Computer Systems Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in the beautiful city of Svalbard. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities and will include accommodation and visa sponsorship.

As a Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness in our organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify their needs and provide recommendations for hardware, software, and system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough analysis of current computer systems, processes, and procedures
- Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for hardware, software, or system upgrades
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance the organization's computer systems
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
- Create detailed technical documentation for system enhancements or changes
- Work closely with IT teams to implement system improvements or upgrades
- Test new systems or upgrades to ensure functionality and compatibility with existing systems
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems or changes

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience as a Computer Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems
- Knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and database management systems
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a contract role is preferred
