Gardener

As a Gardener in Faro, you will be responsible for maintaining the gardens and outdoor spaces of private residences, public parks, and commercial properties. You will use your knowledge and skills in horticulture, landscaping, and gardening to ensure that the plants, flowers, and trees are healthy and well-maintained.

Responsibilities:
- Planting, pruning, and trimming trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Maintaining lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
- Identifying and controlling weeds, pests, and diseases.
- Installing irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants.
- Designing new garden layouts or renovating existing ones.
- Selecting suitable plants for specific environments.
- Maintaining garden tools and equipment.
- Keeping records of plant inventory and maintenance schedules.

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Gardener or similar role.
- Knowledge of horticulture techniques and plant care.
- Familiarity with landscaping design principles.
- Ability to operate gardening equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, etc.
- Physically fit to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Creative eye for designing aesthetically pleasing gardens.
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Certification in horticulture or landscaping from a recognized institution.
- Experience working with different types of plants in different environments.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
