Plasterboard Worker

We are seeking a skilled Plasterboard Worker to join our team in Porto. As a Plasterboard Worker, you will be responsible for installing and repairing plasterboard in various residential and commercial construction projects. This role requires previous experience in plasterboard installation, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good physical stamina, and the ability to follow safety protocols at all times.

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut plasterboard to fit specific areas
- Install plasterboard on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
- Secure plasterboard with screws or adhesive
- Repair damaged or uneven areas of plasterboard
- Smooth out seams and joints using joint compound
- Sand down surfaces for a smooth finish
- Apply primer and paint as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Previous experience in plasterboard installation is required
- Good physical stamina for lifting and carrying heavy materials
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail for precise measurements and cuts
- Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate with other construction workers on site
- Basic knowledge of construction tools such as saws, drills, and levels
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling materials and working at heights
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications:
While not required, the following qualifications would be considered an asset:
- Relevant certifications or training in plastering or drywall installation
- Experience working on both residential and commercial projects
- Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese and English

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
