Instrument Technician for Offshore Oil Rig in Greenland

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Instrument Technician to join our team on an offshore oil rig in Greenland. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and calibrating various instrumentation equipment used in the production and processing of oil.

As an Instrument Technician, you will work closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure all instrumentation is functioning properly and meets safety standards. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting any issues that arise with the equipment and making necessary repairs.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering, along with at least 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry. Experience with offshore facilities is preferred.

This position requires someone who is physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions is essential. Additionally, strong communication skills are necessary as you will be working closely with other team members.

As this is an offshore position, the successful candidate must be willing to live on the rig for extended periods of time. Accommodation will be provided on board, but candidates must also be comfortable working in remote locations.

We are proud to offer competitive compensation for this role, with a starting salary of $1400 per month. Visa sponsorship is available for non-Greenlandic nationals.
