Locksmith Technician


Locksmith technicians are responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and security systems. They work with a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the safety and security of homes, businesses, and other buildings. As a locksmith technician in Vejle, you will play an integral role in providing peace of mind to our community through your expertise and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install new locks and security systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
- Repair broken or malfunctioning locks
- Duplicate keys for customers
- Respond to emergency lockouts and provide access to locked buildings or vehicles
- Conduct security assessments and make recommendations for improved safety measures
- Keep accurate records of all services provided

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years experience as a locksmith technician or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of locks, their functions, and how to repair them
- Familiarity with tools such as lock picks, drills, and key-making machines
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex lock issues
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information in simple terms
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in high-stress situations

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or certification in locksmithing preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in Vejle. The standard working hours are from 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday; however, flexibility may be required for emergency calls. This position does not offer accommodation or visa sponsorship.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary starting at 1200$ per month based on experience.
