Part-Time Database Administrator


We are hiring a part-time Database Administrator to join our team in Almada. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's databases, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and accurate. Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain company databases, ensuring data is secure and accurate
- Troubleshoot any technical issues or errors that may arise
- Develop and implement backup plans for data protection
- Optimize database performance by conducting regular maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with IT team to ensure databases meet company needs
- Provide training and support to employees on how to use databases effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies related to database management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Knowledge of SQL language and relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with database design principles and data modeling techniques
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Basic understanding of network protocols and security measures

Salary:
Salary for this part-time position is $900 per month.
