Job Title: Typesetter


We are in search of a skilled Typesetter to join our team in Faroe-Islands. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting and arranging text and images for various publications, such as books, magazines, and newspapers. Your attention to detail and knowledge of typography will be essential in creating visually appealing publications.

Responsibilities:
- Set and arrange text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread and edit text for errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing
- Collaborate with designers and editors to create visually appealing layouts
- Use publishing software to format text and images
- Make necessary adjustments to layout based on feedback from clients or editors
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography principles and design software such as Adobe InDesign
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in text or layout
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1400$ per month.
