Crane Operator



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes, including mobile, tower, and overhead cranes. Your main duty will be to move heavy materials and equipment to different locations on construction sites or in industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes safely and efficiently according to job site requirements and company policies
- Inspect crane equipment before each use and report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maneuver cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on job sites or in industrial settings
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Monitor weather conditions that may affect crane operations
- Maintain accurate record of daily activities and log any incidents or accidents that occur during crane operation

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Crane Operator in construction or industrial settings
- Valid Crane Operator certification from an accredited institution
- Knowledge of different types of cranes and their capabilities
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to crane operation
- Ability to read blueprints and understand load charts
- Good communication skills
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.

This position is located in Funchal, Portugal.
