Back-End Developer


We are hiring a skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our dynamic team in Bergen, Norway. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be to ensure the responsiveness and efficiency of our applications by working closely with front-end developers, designers, and other team members.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to develop high-quality web applications.
- Design, develop and maintain the server-side logic of our web applications.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable code.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure data security by implementing data protection measures.
- Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in production.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve our existing systems.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
- Experience with database management systems and SQL queries.
- Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Knowledge of web servers like Apache or Nginx is preferred.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month for this position.
