Data Mining Analyst



We are seeking a skilled Data Mining Analyst to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to identify patterns and trends that can inform business decisions. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and organize large sets of data from various sources
- Use statistical methods to clean and validate data
- Develop and implement algorithms for data mining
- Analyze data to identify patterns and trends
- Communicate findings to stakeholders through reports and presentations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies based on data insights

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in data mining or analytics role
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R or SAS
- Experience with SQL databases and programming languages such as Python or Java
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders

Preferences:
- Prior experience working with accommodation or hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
