Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that will inform decision-making and improve business processes. You will work with various teams to gather data and use specialized tools and techniques to clean, organize, and analyze it. Your findings will be presented in reports and visualizations to aid in business strategy and decision making.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting and organizing data from various sources
- Cleaning and formatting data for analysis
- Using statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze data
- Identifying patterns, trends, and outliers in the data
- Creating reports and visualizations to present findings
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs
- Providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Maintaining databases and implementing data security measures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, interpret large datasets
- Knowledge of statistical methods including regression analysis, clustering techniques
- Experience with machine learning algorithms is a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Location: Faro (Remote work is also possible)

Salary: 1500$ per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Work Schedule: Part-time (20 hours per week)
