Job Title: Social Media Moderator
As a Social Media Moderator, you will be responsible for monitoring and moderating all social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and maintain a positive online reputation. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive or controversial topics with professionalism and tact. You will work closely with the social media team to address user inquiries and concerns in a timely manner while upholding company values and standards. This position is based in Funchal but open to candidates of all nationalities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor social media platforms for any inappropriate or offensive content, spam, or violations of community guidelines
- Respond promptly to user inquiries, comments, and concerns in a professional and respectful manner
- Maintain a positive online presence by engaging with followers and promoting brand values
- Collaborate with the social media team to develop strategies for managing sensitive or controversial topics
- Report any issues or trends that may affect the company's online reputation
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for social media moderation
Requirements:
- Biometric passport (or ability to obtain one) for international travel if necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Professionalism when handling sensitive or controversial topics
- Previous experience in social media moderation is preferred but not required
Salary: $1500 USD/month
