A reputable company in Greenland is seeking a skilled Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to shape metal parts for use in the manufacturing of products. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1000 per month.

Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate machine setup
- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machine tools to shape metal parts
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished parts
- Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
- Inspect finished parts for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
- Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and wearing appropriate protective equipment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Turner or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of machine tools and their operations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; vocational training or apprenticeship in machining preferred
- Certification in operating specific types of machine tools is a plus
