Pastry Chef - English Speaking (Las Vegas)
We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef who is fluent in English to join our team in Las Vegas. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious pastries, desserts and other baked goods for our restaurant. You will also be responsible for managing our pastry team, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Must have knowledge of various pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong leadership skills to manage and train pastry team members
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Create new recipes for pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, etc.
- Prepare ingredients, measure quantities accurately, and follow recipes precisely
- Oversee the production of pastries to ensure quality standards are met
- Train new pastry staff members on recipes, techniques, and safety procedures
- Manage inventory of supplies and place orders when needed
- Maintain a clean work area according to health codes
- Collaborate with other chefs to create dessert menus that complement main dishes
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new ideas into menu offerings
We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month plus bonuses based on performance. This position is open to foreigners who are willing to relocate to Las Vegas.
