Carpenter for Residential Construction - Akron, USA


We are a residential construction company based in Akron, USA and we are seeking skilled and experienced carpenters to join our team. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of structures
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, squares, or marking gauges
- Follow safety procedures when operating machinery or using hand tools
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, drills, or sanders
- Join materials with nails, screws, staples or adhesives
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings or hardware
- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures
- Maintain clean work area by removing debris after each job

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction projects
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Familiarity with woodworking machines and tools
- Good understanding of mathematics for measuring and calculating material needs
- Physical stamina to handle heavy equipment and long hours of standing
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
