Blast Furnace Operator


We are currently hiring a Blast Furnace Operator for our steel production plant located in Split. As a Blast Furnace Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the blast furnace to ensure efficient production of high-quality steel.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control the blast furnace operations according to standard procedures
- Maintain proper temperatures and pressures within the furnace
- Adjust fuel and air supply as needed to maintain optimal operating conditions
- Monitor and record data on furnace performance and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during operation
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the blast furnace
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in metallurgy preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a blast furnace worker or operator in a steel production plant
- Strong understanding of blast furnace operations, including temperature, pressure, fuel, and air control
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals
- Physically fit to work in a demanding environment with exposure to high temperatures, noise, and moving machinery
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1000$ per month.
