Back-End Developer

We are hiring a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Faro. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be to develop and implement efficient, secure and scalable code that powers our websites and applications.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner
- Write clean, well-designed code that is easy to maintain
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to improve the development process
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or PHP
- Experience working with at least one framework such as Spring Boot or Django
- Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design principles
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Salary: $1700 per month.
Location: Faro.
