Job Title: Preservation Architect (Contract) - Esbjerg, Denmark
As a Preservation Architect, you will play a crucial role in preserving and restoring historical buildings and landmarks in the city of Esbjerg. Your main responsibility will be to assess the condition of these structures and develop plans for their preservation, while also considering their cultural and historical significance. You will work closely with city officials, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure that all preservation projects are carried out efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Knowledge of architectural history, preservation techniques, and building codes
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other architectural design software
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site assessments of historical buildings to determine their condition and identify areas in need of preservation or restoration
- Develop preservation plans that consider the structural integrity, cultural value, and historical significance of each building
- Collaborate with city officials, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure that all preservation projects are carried out according to plan
- Monitor the progress of preservation projects and make any necessary adjustments or recommendations
- Research and stay updated on new techniques and materials for preserving historical structures
