Preservation Architect - Part Time (Esbjerg, Denmark)
Our architectural firm in Esbjerg is seeking a talented and passionate Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures in Esbjerg and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in historic preservation and architecture to gain hands-on experience while working on meaningful projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or related field
- Knowledge of preservation techniques and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work part-time (20 hours per week)
- Must be legally able to work in Denmark
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site visits and assessments of historic buildings
- Develop preservation plans and proposals for restoration projects
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance with preservation regulations
- Oversee restoration projects from start to finish, including managing budgets and timelines
- Utilize software such as AutoCAD or Revit for drafting plans and designs
- Research historical context of buildings and incorporate findings into design plans
Salary: 1500$ monthly salary for 20 hours per week.
