Entry-Level Turner



A well-established manufacturing company in Alta is seeking an Entry-Level Turner to join our team. As a Turner, you will be responsible for operating various machines and tools to shape and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines such as lathes, mills, grinders, and saws
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the correct dimensions for parts
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality control purposes
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company safety policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in metalworking or machine operation is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of machinery and mechanical processes
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary:
The salary for this position is $900 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Alta, a small city in northern Norway known for its beautiful scenery and outdoor activities such as skiing and hiking.
