Experienced Fitter



As an experienced Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical systems and machinery. You will work with various hand and power tools to shape, cut, and join metal parts as per specifications. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will be essential in identifying issues with equipment and finding efficient solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints and technical diagrams to understand specifications
- Measure and mark metal parts for cutting and drilling
- Use hand tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and wrenches to shape and assemble metal parts
- Operate power tools such as welding equipment to join metal components
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Adhere to safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Fitter or in a similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use various hand and power tools
- Knowledge of welding techniques is an asset
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects as needed
